Receiving Supervisor Opportunity! $21/hr 1st shift! Climate controlled brand new warehouse!
The Receiving Supervisor will control the inventory coming into the facility through the receiving process. Job duties include, at minimum, monitoring the receiving process, correcting any PO’s received incorrectly, any counts that need to be done around the receiving process, and supervising a team of receiving clerksJob Responsibilities• Orient all staff through training employees on job responsibilities.• Schedule and assign workflow of Receiving clerks.• Maintain Receiving accuracy by auditing daily reports and process of items received and correcting any errors.• Ensure correct and timely handling of product within the established policies and procedures. Utilizingappropriate, defined practices to ensure accuracy and compliance.• Control inventory by coordinating counts with Inventory Control clerks and reconciling with the Warehouse Management System (Ramp).• Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by following and monitoring security procedures and protocols, identify and correct infractions.• Protect shipments by investigating cause of damages and discrepancies in consignments.• Maintains physical condition of warehouse by inspecting equipment and issuing work orders for repair.• Check date-sensitive products for expiration and facilitate removal or transfer of product as needed.• Assists in loading and unloading trucks, when necessary.• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.• Ensure accuracy of all shipping and receiving documentation and route to proper record-keeping unit.
