Account Payable Specialist
Location: Jeffersonville, Indiana

Job Summary:
As an Account Payable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely and accurate payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and record accounts payable invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of all financial transactions
- Collaborate with the Accounting team to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and data entry
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions:
This is a temporary, full-time position based in an office environment. The work primarily involves sitting at a desk, using a computer, and occasional light lifting. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Compensation and Benefits:
$22 per hour. Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
