Automotive Painter
Job Description
BESTAFF is seeking a detail-oriented Painter to join our production team. The Painter is responsible for preparing and applying paint and coatings to helmets and related sports equipment to ensure a high-quality finish that meets company standards. This role requires attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, or priming as required.
- Apply paint, coatings, or finishes to helmets and related products using spray equipment or other painting tools.
- Inspect painted products to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to company standards.
- Maintain paint equipment and ensure proper setup and cleaning of tools and spray booths.
- Mix paints and coatings according to specifications.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work collaboratively with production team members to meet daily production goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous painting, industrial painting, or manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of spray painting techniques (preferred).
- Basic understanding of paint mixing and surface preparation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong reliability and work ethic.
- Manufacturing / production facility.
- Exposure to paint fumes and industrial equipment (proper PPE provided).
- Standing, bending, and repetitive tasks required.
