Extraction TechnicianJeffersonville, IN  |  Temp-to-Hire  |  $18.00 / HourShift: 1st Shift  |  Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM About the RoleBESTAFF is hiring an Extraction Technician for a growing botanical ingredients manufacturing partner in Jeffersonville, IN. This is a hands-on production role where you'll work alongside a close-knit team — including the Production Supervisor, Team Leads, and Quality — to extract and blend bulk natural ingredients in a clean, climate-controlled facility. If you're detail-oriented, dependable, and ready to build a career in specialty manufacturing, this temp-to-hire opportunity puts you on a direct path to permanent placement.What You'll Do
  • Assist in all aspects of the botanical extraction and blending process.
  • Operate and monitor processing equipment throughout your shift.
  • Collect in-process samples and record data for all manufacturing processes.
  • Follow company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to produce high-quality natural ingredients.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols including OSHA guidelines for hazardous chemical handling.
  • Maintain an organized, clean production environment and personal workspace.
  • Identify and report equipment failures to the appropriate team members.
  • Follow inventory control standards; store supplies and dispose of waste per company and safety guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior cGMP production experience is a plus — not required but valued.
  • Previous botanical extraction experience is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with basic production terminology and SOPs.
  • Basic math skills and good attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn OSHA guidelines for hazardous chemical environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Reliable, accountable, and dependable — you show up ready to work.
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and push up to 50 lbs; comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
