Job Description
BESTAFF is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Clamp Truck Operator to join our operations team in Jeffersonville, IN. This role is essential to maintaining smooth warehouse and production flow by handling, moving, and staging large rolls, pallets, and other materials using a clamp truck.The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience operating powered industrial trucks, and a commitment to workplace safety and productivity. - Operate a clamp truck safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials.
- Handle and transport rolls of corrugated paper, pallets, and other products without damage.
- Supply production areas with raw materials as scheduled.
- Stage finished goods in designated warehouse areas for shipping.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections of equipment and report maintenance issues.
- Follow all company safety policies, OSHA standards, and operational procedures.
- Assist with general warehouse duties when not operating equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of material movement.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Proven experience as a clamp truck or forklift operator (corrugated industry experience is a plus).
- Valid forklift/clamp truck certification (or ability to obtain).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexible and reliable with a positive attitude.
