MATERIAL HANDLERWarehouse & Distribution   |   Temp-to-Hire   |   Minimum 2 Years Reach Operator and Warehouse Experience Required $19.50/hr  11: 00am-8: 30pm
ABOUT THE ROLEBESTAFF is seeking a detail-oriented Material Handler to support warehouse and distribution operations for a growing employer in the area. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in accuracy, and brings solid experience in kitting, picking, and inventory control. The right candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and ready to contribute from day one.WHAT YOU' LL DO
  • Print  pick-lists  according to the production schedule based on priority date and place in designated bins.
  • Pull materials accurately from warehouse locations based on  pick-lists, work orders, and BOMs.
  • Perform 100% counts  of all hardware, devices, and flash media (USBs, SD cards) to ensure kit accuracy.
  • Complete shortages for job orders and production as soon as materials are received, approved, and cleared.
  • Audit kits pulled from the warehouse — verify part numbers and quantities against BOM requirements.
  • Document discrepancies found during audits and notify the appropriate team to resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure ESD-sensitive materials are handled  per  proper work instructions and safety standards.
  • Pull lot-controlled and serialized products per company standards and work instructions.
  • Update tracking systems each time changes are made to a work order.
  • Return over-issued or production-returned materials to stock through the RTS process.
  • Operate forklifts (stand-up and sit-down) and pallet jacks to move and stage materials.
  • Perform cycle counts according to established procedures and instructions.
  • Stretch-wrap pallets using automatic or manual stretch-wrapper as required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area  at all times.
  • Support production as needed to ensure the line remains fully supplied.
  • Follow all company policies, safety requirements, and environmental guidelines.
WHAT WE' RE LOOKING FOR
  • Minimum two years of experience in general warehousing, picking, receiving, and cycle counting — required.
  • Forklift certification (Reach  and sit-down) —  required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent — required.
  • High level of attention to detail; accuracy is non-negotiable in this role.
  • Familiarity with MRP systems, barcode scanners, and standard warehouse software.
  • Basic computer proficiency (Windows, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs. and move freely throughout the facility.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a collaborative team.

  • Production lines stay fully stocked with zero unnecessary delays caused by material shortages.
  • Inventory discrepancies are caught early, communicated promptly, and resolved without escalation.
  • The warehouse area is organized, clean, and operating at a high standard of safety.
  • You' re a go-to team member who takes ownership and supports the operation without being asked.
