BESTAFF is hiring for a Cycle Counter in the Westside of Indianapolis.
Pay Rate: $19.00 hourlyM-F 7a-3:30PM
The Cycle Counter II is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy through precise cycle counting, data entry, and transaction processing. This position supports the Warehouse, Production, and Inventory Management teams by performing and monitoring cycle counts, verifying material integrity, and ensuring accurate system records. The Cycle Counter II plays a key role in supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence in warehouse inventory control.Key Responsibilities

The Cycle Counter II is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy through precise cycle counting, data entry, and transaction processing. This position supports the Warehouse, Production, and Inventory Management teams by performing and monitoring cycle counts, verifying material integrity, and ensuring accurate system records. The Cycle Counter II plays a key role in supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence in warehouse inventory control.Key Responsibilities
- Manage, perform, and monitor cycle counts and inventory transactions.
- Maintain 100% accuracy in data entry and physical counts.
- Assist Warehouse and Production teams in locating materials and resolving discrepancies.
- Generate and review cycle count reports; identify and correct variances.
- Ensure all inventory transactions (First Issue, RTS, MT’s, WIP, and Manual Shipments) are completed accurately and timely in the ERP system.
- Evaluate product accuracy through measuring, weighing, repackaging, and organizing materials according to company procedures.
- Verify that product integrity and documentation align with WMS records.
- Monitor and manage SHIP locations, inventory lots, and negative balances daily.
- Maintain accurate and complete warehouse records and documentation.
- Support warehouse operations by assisting with physical counts and other warehouse activities as needed.
- Collaborate with the Inventory Supervisor, Warehouse and Distribution Manager, and Inventory Analyst to drive process improvements in inventory management.
- Promote warehouse cleanliness, organization, and compliance with company standards.
- Support the Environmental Management System (EMS) and follow environmental policies and practices.
- Identify and report environmental nonconformities and assist in corrective actions.
- Contribute ideas to improve the EMS and reduce waste in daily operations.
- Support the Quality Assurance function by maintaining control of inventory records and ensuring accuracy in product traceability.
- Ability to move freely throughout the warehouse and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Must have excellent eyesight and attention to detail.
- Regular use of computer systems and phones; ability to perform extensive data entry.
- 2–3 years of inventory control or cycle counting experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in ERP/WMS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to accuracy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
