Job Description

BESTAFF is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our team in Jeffersonville, IN. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for moving, loading, and unloading materials safely and efficiently while supporting warehouse operations. This position plays a critical role in maintaining smooth workflow and ensuring timely order fulfillment.
Sunday - Thursday 10p-6amPay rate $18.50 hourly
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Load, unload, move, and stack materials in designated areas.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs.
  • Follow safety standards and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of material movement and inventory.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Valid forklift certification/license or willingness to obtain.
  • Prior forklift or warehouse experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
