Job Description

BESTAFF is hiring a Tally Clerk. The Tally Clerk is responsible for accurately counting, recording, and verifying production quantities of corrugated materials as they move through the manufacturing and shipping process. This role ensures data accuracy, inventory integrity, and proper documentation of daily production activities.Key Responsibilities

Record production output and material usage accurately throughout shifts.
Verify counts of finished goods and raw materials.
Maintain detailed logs, reports, and tallies of product quantities.
Coordinate with machine operators, forklift drivers, and supervisors to ensure inventory accuracy.
Label, tag, or identify finished products as required.
Monitor for quality issues and report discrepancies or defects.
Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or inventory control environment preferred.
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Basic computer and data entry skills (Excel, ERP systems a plus).
Ability to read production orders and follow written instructions.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
