Job Description
BESTAFF is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Production Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Jeffersonville, IN. This role is responsible for operating and monitoring production machinery to ensure high-quality output, safe operation, and efficient workflow in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery according to safety and quality standards
- Set up machines for production runs, including loading materials and adjusting controls
- Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality requirements
- Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning, lubrication, and basic troubleshooting
- Accurately document production counts, scrap, and downtime
- Follow all company policies, OSHA regulations, and safety procedures
- Assist with changeovers, material handling, and maintaining a clean workspace
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and other production team members
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience is a plus
- Ability to read measuring devices and production paperwork
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts as needed
- Experience in packaging, printing, corrugated, or industrial production environments
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance knowledge
- Manufacturing floor with noise, moving equipment, and safety PPE required
- Fast-paced production setting with performance goals
