We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and mechanically inclined with a strong work ethic.Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor manufacturing machines to produce metal components according to specifications.
- Set up, adjust, and calibrate machines for production runs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
- Keep accurate production and machine logs.
- Follow all workplace safety rules, including proper use of PPE.
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and measurements.
- Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team setting.
- Physical ability to lift up to [50lbs], stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety practices.
- Manufacturing floor environment with exposure to noise, heat, and moving machinery.
- Overtime and shift work may be required.
