Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician 1st Shift
Location: Jeffersonville, Indiana
Job Summary
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production facilities. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for the preventative maintenance, repair, and upkeep of our specialized equipment and machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on production equipment, including motors, pumps, conveyors, and other industrial systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with machinery and electrical systems, and implement effective solutions
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
- Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and maintain optimal operational efficiency
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to protect yourself, your colleagues, and our facilities
- Assist with the installation of new equipment and the implementation of process improvements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, with technical training or vocational certification in a relevant field
- 2-3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar industrial maintenance role
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Familiarity with a variety of hand and power tools, as well as basic electrical and pneumatic systems
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
