Job Description
BESTAFF is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Pick/Pack Associates to join our warehouse team in Whitestown, Indiana. This position is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing gutter system products for shipment while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards. Pay rate: $18.50Tuesday-Friday 6a-4:30P$19.00 hourly Key Responsibilities:
Full-time positions available. Overtime may be required during peak seasons
- Accurately pick products based on customer orders using pick tickets or RF scanners
- Pack gutter components (downspouts, elbows, end caps, brackets, etc.) securely to prevent damage during shipping
- Inspect products for defects or damage prior to packing
- Label, palletize, and stage completed orders for shipment
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified)
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Assist with inventory counts and restocking as needed
- Meet daily productivity and accuracy goals
- Previous warehouse, picking, or packing experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
- Basic math and reading skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Forklift experience a plus
- Warehouse setting with varying temperatures
- Standing, bending, lifting, and walking throughout shift
- Use of safety equipment as required
