Production - 2nd Shift
Join our team as a Production Associate on the 2nd shift! We are a leading food company that produces and distributes a variety of consumer food products. In this role, you will be responsible for hands-on manufacturing and assembly work to support our operations.
Job Summary:
As a Production Associate, you will work on the 2nd shift (typically 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM) to perform a range of production tasks. Your primary duties will include operating machinery, assembling products, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This is a temporary position with the potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate production equipment and machinery according to standard operating procedures
- Assemble products and components by hand or with the use of tools
- Monitor production processes and identify any quality issues or equipment malfunctions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols
- Collaborate with the production team to meet daily output goals
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and blueprints
- Proficient in the use of basic hand tools and production equipment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Working Conditions:
This is a light industrial production role that may involve standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and exposure to noise, dust, and other production-related elements. The work environment is climate-controlled, and personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided.
Compensation and Benefits:
This position offers a pay rate of $20 per hour.
