Production Lead
Job Description
Job Title: Line Lead
Pay: $22–$23 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Position Overview:
BESTAFF is seeking a reliable and motivated Line Lead to oversee production line operations and support team members on the manufacturing floor. This position requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a hands-on approach. The Line Lead will be responsible for training team members, ensuring production runs smoothly, and assisting with daily labor tasks until team members are fully trained.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and support production line operations to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met
• Train and mentor production team members on processes and procedures
• Assist with daily manual labor tasks as needed while building and training the team
• Understand and operate machinery, including learning machine coding and system inputs
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement problem-solving solutions
• Monitor workflow and ensure safety and productivity on the line
• Communicate effectively with management and production staff
Requirements:
• Previous manufacturing experience required
• Leadership or management experience required
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to learn machine coding and system operations
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Willingness to perform hands-on manual labor daily until staff are fully trained
• Ability to train and guide team members
Hiring Process:
• Candidates must complete a facility tour and interview
• Final interview will be conducted with the Operations and General Manager and Production Supervisor
