Job Description

BESTAFF is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Reach Truck Operator to support warehouse operations at our Indianapolis, IN facility. This role is responsible for operating a reach truck to move, store, and retrieve inventory within the warehouse while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with all safety standards.
M-F  7A-3: 30PMPay $18.00 hourly
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a reach truck to transport materials throughout the warehouse safely and efficiently
  • Load, unload, and place products in high rack storage locations
  • Pick and stage orders according to customer and shipping requirements
  • Perform inventory moves, replenishment, and material transfers
  • Verify product counts and ensure correct item placement
  • Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines during equipment operation
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
  • Assist with general warehouse duties such as packing, labeling, and shipping support
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse environment (preferred)
  • Valid reach truck or forklift certification is a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced distribution setting
  • Must be able to pass background check and drug screening as required
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
Operation of powered industrial equipment in active work zones
