Sales & Field RepresentativeClarksville, IN | Direct Hire | Competitive Base + IncentivesSchedule: Full-Time, Monday– Friday | Territory: Louisville, KY to Indianapolis, IN About the RoleBESTAFF is hiring a Sales & Field Representative for a locally owned and operated manufacturer serving the residential and commercial construction market. Based in Clarksville, IN, you' ll cover the Louisville-to-Indianapolis corridor. This is a hands-on, high-detail role: part relationship builder, part field expert. You' ll spend real time on active job sites taking measurements and sizing up conditions, and just as much time growing accounts with builders and contractors. If you come from construction management or construction sales, you' ll feel right at home — and you' ll be rewarded for the business you grow with a base salary plus incentives.What You' ll Do
- Grow your territory. Build and strengthen relationships with builders, contractors, and superintendents across the Louisville-to-Indianapolis corridor, and turn leads into new accounts.
- Measure in the field. Travel to residential and commercial job sites to take accurate field measurements that drive design, production, and scheduling.
- Document site conditions. Capture site access, driveway and road conditions, overhead obstructions, staging areas, and anything else that affects safe, on-time delivery — with photos, notes, and measurements.
- Catch problems early. Spot and report differences between plans, customer information, and what you see on site, and communicate them quickly to design, production, and dispatch.
- Build proposals. Create customized proposals that answer customer needs clearly and accurately.
- Stay organized. Keep account records current and report on activity, open proposals, wins, and losses.
- Represent the company. Show up at Pro Days, trade events, product demos, and open houses to strengthen relationships and generate new business.
- Work safe. Follow company and job-site safety rules, including required PPE, on every site visit.
- Experience in construction management, construction sales, building materials, or a related field — strongly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings
- Precise measuring and documentation skills — you sweat the details
- Strong communication, negotiation, and follow-through skills
- Working knowledge of residential and/or commercial construction
- Comfort working outdoors in all weather and walking uneven terrain on active job sites
- Valid driver' s license and a driving record that meets company insurance requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Base salary plus incentives — your effort shows up in your paycheck
