BESTAFF is Seeking a Taper
Pay Rate: $17.65 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 3:30PM-12AM
Employment Type: Full-TimePosition Summary
BESTAFF is currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Taper to join our production team. The Taper is responsible for securing veneer sheets using tape to prevent splitting during production. This role plays a key part in maintaining product quality and production efficiency.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Inspect veneer sheets to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Apply tape to secure veneers and prevent splitting during production.
  • Maintain and meet acceptable production levels.
  • Identify and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor.
  • Accurately complete required production documentation.
  • Follow lockout-tagout safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

  • Good close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus

Education & ExperienceRequired: NonePreferred:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year of factory or manufacturing experience
